Pros

Working in this company will bring you so much pride. You will get enough exposure to different subject areas of your field, industry standards, best practice, etc. Great place to learn.! Job openings are posted internally, so there are many opportunities to explore.

Cons

When you have already signed your contract and agreed to the salary presented, its a dead end. My advise is extend your asking salary to the maximum before agreeing to sign the contract. They will really give you the minimum of the minimum but once youre in, they will give you bunch of workload, requirements to fulfill, tideous task, and overtime time pay is not allowed. My colleague got promoted after so many years of working on the same position but salary increment is funny. The reason for the promotion is to align with the pay range of the job level. Better to look for a promotion outside the company.

Pros

A good amount of remote monitoring, which depending on how you view can be a positive.

Cons

Changing systems and inconsistent standards are applied to people. There are many differing models that often muddy how you are supposed to do your job, especially when other staff members don't quite understand. How do you interface with the changing models? There tends to be a lot of blame and foisting of responsibilities. Sometimes you can become overburdened with a lot of work, where people do not respect your time and think that their tasks should take priority. It is possible to be contacted late at night with work to do and then be criticized the next day for not being able to keep up.
