      Not terrible but not great - Cashier PetSmart Employee Review

      Pros

      Seeing all of the pets is always fun, overall nice co-workers, new cash registers at all locations (just after I left)

      Cons

      They give you hardly any hours if you have to take a couple of nights per week off, if you don't ask for it you will almost certainly be scheduled to work a Saturday, Sunday or both, the store manager was straight up fired after working for the company for 20+ years based on the fact that customers didn't want to take the company surveys.

      Pros

      If you have experience they can pay very well considering the size of the company. Depending on which store you are in, they can be pretty good at fostering a good environment and culture.

      Cons

      Company is primarily focused on sales and not customer experience. So expect a lot of metrics and hounding customers. Company is trying to be technologically forward but continues to neglect to invest in the technology. So there’s updates every week crashes every week with no communication around it.
