Pros

This is a company that employs very professional, high-caliber consultants. It's not as big as the very large consulting firms so it is more selective in the people they hire. Quality, not quantity, is the name of the game when staffing client engagements. Internally, the company is small enough to have a "boutique" feel. Communication to management is very open. The office culture is such that work/life balance is emphasized.

Cons

Being a consulting company, its employees are expected to travel. Even though the company has 20+ offices worldwide, client/project locations are not usually limited to each office's home city/location. This is not necessarily a "con" but a simple point of comparison when considering small consulting firms that may be limited to only working with clients that are located in or near the home office's city.

Pros

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

Cons

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
