Line crew is great, get above that and the lies begin - Production Line Operator Pella Employee Review

Pros

Pay is good, and the hours began great. The line crew is full of good people. Work hard and they will all help share the load and help you out when needed. The line leads are hit-or-miss, but if you get a good one, they are awesome and doing the best they can with what they are given!

Cons

Recruiters offer positions that do not exist and you will not start at the pay they offered. They are just trying to get people in the door to fill empty spots with empty promises. Hours were changed to keep work week a manageable 4-5 days, but now they will make you work 6 days a week and write you up if you somehow cannot make it every day. Also doesn't help that every day you come in to a humid 88+ degrees because they will not turn on the AC.

Pros

Great product, hours were good, and good culture overall. I worked there for well over 10 years and was very sad to leave.

Cons

The Birmingham branch went through several owners during my long tenure with the company. Each owner had its pros and cons. Eventually Birmingham was bought out by the corporate office. The company constantly changing owners gave alot of anxiety and employees were often left feeling a lack of stability. There is not alot of room for growth and the starting pay is not the best, unless you are in Trade sales.
