Pros
You're a go-to person if you want to be. It is up to you to decide your importance within the organization. The culture can be different as per the office. Regardless, I think people know how to have fun and but also get serious about an important client project. I think the client focus is what separates them from the large size consultants.
Cons
Corporate management aren't visible and can run the business like a large cost center.
