Pros
Very honestly I fail to come up with any ways that being at Pathrise benefitted me. I think maybe the only thing I can say is - I know now what red flags to look out for the next time I'm job hunting.
Cons
They overwork you and do not care about your personal life. I requested a day off because my grandfather passed and I was denied, and my manager didn't even express any sympathies, just "things happens in life, but we still gotta work." The CTO was the kind of person who says he works 80 hours a week, actually works 100, and expects you to work 60 but won't say it. I have been traumatized in various ways from this company - to this day I still dread any sort of 1 on 1 or performance review because of the sheer amount of negative experiences at Pathrise. I have a literal disability (ADHD) and upon learning of this they made no attempts to accommodate me. I was placed on a PIP and lied to about the length of time it would last, and the CTO also frequently changed the parameters on a whim. WORST COMPANY EVER.
