Pros

I love working at Path. The company is based in the Midwest and is family owned. This shows in the integrity, character and dedication of the employees I’ve worked with. These employees are committed to creating the best product while providing superior service for all customers ….. from the project owners down to the subcontractors we engage with. Teamwork and culture are valued and work/life balance is encouraged. This is a fun work environment! 😊

Cons

It can be stressful during rush times but that is typical in the construction industry. I’ve found folks are respectful and productive even in challenging circumstances.

Pros

Path Construction is a great place to work! The leadership team is full of great mentors and supports every team member to excel in the difficult construction industry. Path supports a good work life balance and opportunities to grow no matter what the role. Pay and benefits are at or above industry standards and Path encourages employees to spend time together outside of the office with frequent social events.

Cons

Being a nation wide company with offices on each coast, it can be difficult to meet other co-workers in person. However, Path conducts monthly zoom meetings to meet, interact, and learn from fellow co-workers across the country.

Pros

Very organized as far as onboarding goes. You get quickly set up with all the equipment you need (phones, laptops, etc.). They do a good job of planning fun outings for their employees.

Cons

There is a lot of pressure to do things correctly the first time. I understand mistakes are to be avoided as much as possible, but they are inevitable. I found there wasn't much understanding from upper management when mistakes were made. I wasn't spoken to about potential issues with my performance, or areas where I needed to improve. It seemed an unfavorable opinion was reached about me, and I was only given that insight after the decision to let me go was already made. During my time there, I felt like I was always walking on eggshells, and the security of my future employment was questionable at best.
