Good learning experience but terrible culture - Senior Associate Partners in Performance Employee Review

Pros

- Great opportunity to work across multiple industries and variety of projects - Lot of time invested by the company in training

Cons

- Significant travel and time spent away from home - which can be seen as a positive if you enjoy the lifestyle but PIP is not the best in terms of travel benefits (eg allowances are quite low and strict) - Hours are really long and it's completely normalised (eg have even seen it written on proposals that 'our consultants work 12-hour days) - Really hard to build relationships with colleagues or a sense of good culture/belonging as everyone is constantly travelling, too busy to catch up and turnover is really high. You pretty much meet someone and never see them again - Despite all the talk about 'we look after our employees', that does not apply to more junior consultants (ie BAs to Managers) - eg employees get burnt out on stressful engagements and get sent back to the same engagement instead of trying to find alternatives, don't get time in lieu after a challenging engagement, etc.
