- Good pay, but the business is a cash cow with too much money and greed floating amongst a few at the top... this drives preverse behaviours - Wide exposure of industries and types of work - if you decide to join, set a time you want to stay for to get the experience and then get out before the money makes you cynical and the hours & stress become normalised - Some good people and colleagues (peers) that you form tght bonds with
Cons
- Worked ruthlessly with an expectation of going way beyond what is reasonable to justify and unreasonable day rate - Travel with little consideration for a personal life and often at unreasonably short notice - The most senior leaders tolerates poor behaviour from leaders that sell - Little loyalty to their people with redundancies when things turn (I wasn't one) - there's not enough cash or reserves left in the business to ride the cycle
