Pros
Office location is pretty great
Cons
Paraform is internally trying to boost its Glassdoor ratings by pushing employees to leave positive reviews. They do the same with Reddit, using employees or paying third parties to comment on threads to make the company look good. It’s slimy and pretty telling of how the company operates. Most of the teams are toxic, especially marketing. Employees are forced to write LinkedIn posts, with lines like, “we will check LinkedIn to make sure you’ve posted.” I’m more than happy to support a company I’m proud of, but I was embarrassed to be associated with this one, which is ultimately why I left. The culture feels like a dictatorship. If you disagree with how things are run or try to suggest something different, it’s shut down. A lot of the LinkedIn content from leadership is blatantly clickbait, and the overall vibe leans heavily into bro culture. I didn’t gain anything meaningful from this experience. If anything, I left feeling worse about myself, but in hindsight, not fitting into a culture like this is probably a good thing.
