Pros

Made some great friends while working there.

Cons

Management micromanages employees. Supervisors target older employees and harrass them until they quit. High turnover rate from employees quitting. They also hire a lot of temps who are non empathetic with the clients. They never fire horrible supervisors- just transfer them to other areas in the company no matter how many employees they cost the company along the way. They would love to not pay a claim if you give them even the smallest reason not to. No organization or procedures for anything. Future unstable. Employees reduced from 13 to 6 and two of those were temps in the Omaha office. Promotions frozen for the last 4-5 years. Supervisor out right mean and nasty. If your dog dies- she will go out of her way to twist the knife and put you in tears. . .

Pros

What I'm most grateful for is my team and the culture. Pacific Life is full of supportive, knowledgeable, encouraging, and just genuinely great people. I feel challenged, appreciated, and lucky to be a part of this culture.

Cons

In-person requirement of four days a week is not consistent. There is lots of flexibility with that, though.

Pros

Great benefits and great team members!

Cons

The Return to Office policy is driving away one of our talented team members. Blindsided by reorgs. No polls done to determine what is best for our team.
