Pros

Work Life Balance, WFH options, Many good benefits from health and wellness incentives, yearly bonus, to PTO, Family environment at work, Nice people, Flexible and understanding management on some levels, Ways to submit your ideas provided, Performance recognized by some levels of management, global meetings promote unity and uniformity, Mentoring program, Subject matter experts available, Open door policy works on some levels, plenty of work to remain billable and offers job security, PPD does not have a reputation for laying off employees, Have seen very few people fired from PPD, even the ones that deserve it get chance after chance,

Cons

Mediocre pay at best, Too many changes at once and on a very consistent basis, Too many meetings/trainings to absorb what is learned, Constant under bidding for awards causing budget issues on projects, Poor equipment and systems limiting efficiency, almost impossible to move to other job positions within company, Promotions seem to be "clique" driven. Raises are minimal. No matter how much experience you have, promotions are education driven, no experience will equal education here...unless you know someone within the company that matters. You will not get more money for more work. Performance only gets you a good review and more responsibility, no monetary compensation. I could go on, but you get the idea.

Pros

Provided health insurance. Good coworkers Good exposure to team at client site If you have a good technical lead, the job can be great!

Cons

You have 2 bosses (Technical lead from Client Site) and your PPD boss. PPD Boss does not know what is going on If you have a bad technical lead, your life can be miserable. Pay is low No protection from abusive technical lead (coworkers on same team can have a drastically different experience)
