Pros
.There's nothing positive about PNC anymore. I don't even know why I'm still here.
Cons
PNC has went downhill so fast. I've been working here almost a decade in back office and the changes over the last six months has made me absolutely resentful and hateful about this job. PNC doesn't give a crap about anything but their shareholders. Now, they are monitoring employees and if you have five minutes of downtime, you get flagged. They don't care about your output anymore, they are making you be on video 24/7 and recording audio and while they're doing it, they don't give increases and the managers are shat and they share all of your numbers with the team to shame you. I can't even tell you with words how bad PNC is now. I would rather lose my house, my car and everything in my life than continue to work here for another week. I wake up hating every day because of this job and the managers around me. They've made it miserable and trust me, don't work remote because it's not worth it. They want to invade every part of your life if you work remote for them. And clearly I was doing my job because I've been here for almost a decade but that's not good enough. Meanwhile, recruitment is the worst within this company. Most you're going to get for any upward mobility is maybe a few thousand dollars. Since your salary is shared, it doesn't matter what that job should've paid someone on the outside, you'll do a lot better by leaving PNC and then getting hired back in at the job you're actually qualified for because they only give you two or $3000 to move up no matter what it is. They are just ridiculous now and whoever is making these human resource decisions needs to be fired. They're the ones who needs to go.
