Pros

Good Benefits and a respectable base salary of 32K.

Cons

PLS preys upon the naivety of recent college graduates! The company has no intentions of retaining employees. It's a scheme to build as many accounts as possible while eliminating as many people as possible (a lean and mean philosophy). The company brings in training classes every 2-3 months and educates them on the basic functions of the job. However, by your third month you're expected to solicit (through cold calling) to businesses and build a book of your own clients. As each month goes by in the selling phase the numbers and expectations are doubled from the previous month until the point where they'll fire you and assign the book you built to other account executives. In 9-10 months if you sell well enough you'll become commissionable however you'll work strictly off of a draw and if one of your clients doesn't pay their bills on time then YOU owe PLS money back. If you're considering a growth opportunity in sales look elsewhere. If you're a college educated mind and have business acumen hold out for something better. This is NOT the place to launch a career.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
