Pros

Continued Education and Training. State of the Art Proprietary Transportation Management System. Anything that you need to do your job effectively you immediately receive. Ability to Create and Grow on your own. Supportive and Tenured Management that Teaches you how to do vs. Tell you what to do. I can trust that Greg Burns always makes the tough decisions that are in the best interest of PLS and his employees.

More Group Activities outside of the office would be a good thing

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
