Pros

Work from home and overall nice intentioned folk.

Cons

Pretty horrible upper management and extremely boring work. I would only accept a position here if it was a last resort. I have no idea what another reviewer said about the ability to move up. Never saw that with my time here. I did see a lot of transitioning employees laterally through multiple different departments restructures. You are pretty much just entering data all day. The PAMEE platform went through numerous delays and bonuses never got paid. If you need more convincing checkout RiverCap on Glassdoor. Many of the RiverCap reviews were working under this PAMEE branch of that organization.

I’m sorry that this is how you view your experience at PAMEE. As I have mentioned in other responses, pre-launch at a startup is a difficult time for everyone involved. People like you were hired to perform a role and because of delays in the launch of our product, we tried to find ways to keep people working even when the duties didn’t line up with their role. I’d welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you and see if we can help. Ryan Hilpp, Director of Culture - 216-306-1095

Pros

This is a company that has a product that will change the world. Its amazing to be part of a team that gets to work on projects that have a positive impact on humanity.

Cons

As with most tech start ups there are things that change but overall management does a good job of communicating with us to let us know what is going on

Pros

-remote work environment -started out with eligibility for full benefits -real camaraderie between my teammates and I

Cons

-nepotism. nepotism and favoritism is how people end up being in charge. those at the top don’t have the experience to effectively lead their departments -lack of transparency, even flat-out misinformation coming from upper management about where the company is going, when, and how. -manic changes for no apparent reason, like switching job titles and descriptions arbitrarily once a month! -culture of bullying. what the other reviews have said is true. -was told we would receive a bonus quarterly in hiring interview. This has not ever happened. If you are counting on the extra income from bonuses do not accept a job here -frequently given busywork that feels demeaning -overall, upper mgmt is just seemingly clueless about the state of the workplace, their business, and dissatisfaction of their employees As others have said, read the reviews for RiverCap Holdings as well, this company began as a part of there before branching off and the workplace culture is the same

This is disappointing to hear from a current employee. PAMEE is a technology start-up and has certainly been faced with delays in its pursuit of launching an optimal product. Start-ups are not easy, and delays affect everyone in the organization. We have always shared the timelines as we understood them at that point in time and they have moved. I’m sorry that you haven’t felt we were transparent with you. The path to the product we have has been very difficult and I understand your frustration. I’d be happy to discuss it with you directly at any time. We value feedback from our employees and would love the chance to hear it directly. Call me anytime.
