Pros
The pay was decent but not worth the stress. I'm pretty sure if you cry in the car before work then the money isn't worth it.
Cons
Company treated employees like children!!!! This company is stuck in the past!!! They don't care if you have a family emergency, flat tire or anything. They just care about a warm body being in a chair to take calls. When Atlanta was shut down for a week in 2011 because of all of the ice, we were told to report for work as usual. They threatened to give out occurrences if we didn't show up. After 3 you're fired. When they realized that they could not legally tell us to report for work, they ended up paying everyone for the days they missed because of the weather. The training process was long and ridiculous!!! If you didn't pass their test then you were let go IMEDIATELY!!!!!!! They would give us test, send us to lunch and then when we got back they would call out the names of the people who passed the test while everyone waited outside in the hall to hear their named called. If you're not a man then working at the call center will be challenging. The managers flirt with all the men and treat the women horrible. They layoffs would be horrible, they would use it as a scare tactic to get people to sell more. I remember going to lunch one day and then coming back and seeing two rows of empty stations due to layoffs. The company can afford to keep the employees but they laid people off in the Winter time because the demand for pest control services weren't in demand as much as the Spring and Summer time. They made all the women wear panty hose or socks and would actually walk around and check to see if you had them on. One manager would make money off the women who didn't have on panty hose by selling panty hose for a dollar.
