Pros
Training is exceptionable. Co-workers are generally friendly and willing to work together if time allows.Overall, the training is good for getting your foot in the door of the industry.
Cons
Terrible work environment in reference to management and schedule. The company policies are not adhered anymore to benefit the employee or even to the customer. As a pest control technician with the company for almost 13 years, the atmosphere in our branch got worse . Management was constantly putting the workers down and overworking us from 7:30am to sometimes 8 or 9 at night due to scheduling conflicts imposed by unscrupulous policies called"same day starts" which forces a technician to accept new customers to be serviced the same day they call in without any regard to the heavy schedule already. The service suffers as a consequence for all involved . Customer relations are constantly jeopardized due to price increases that are sometimes not properly given to notification. Also, forget it if you are hit with any physical ailments. Your job is constantly threatened and if you have a life event that affects your job, the company is hesitant to reach out and help. You are fortunate if you have a branch manager willing to look out for you. There is no real opportunity for raises or being promoted and the incentives for improving is constantly changing where it's become almost impossible to meet.
