Pros
You know them, don't you? Yes, you do know them, and that is why you apply: you give your time and labor, a commodity of sorts, and you get some money, representing All Things. What else: you expect to be treated in a way that is respectful. That's why I applied, that's why you consider applying. Hopes and Promises.
Cons
Broken promises, stress at every level of the operation at an unhealthy level (shouting matches, safe operation of vehicles and equipment cut short, essential education skipped, ...) and I'm not kidding, but we lost a customer ON THE SAME DAY of announcing one of those drives to sell (speak: push) our services - go figure. Now this: Orkin has been the subject of many lawsuits around the country over recent years for alleged faulty service and slipshod practices. Notably, Orkin was investigated in Florida for racketeering in 2004 for its termite contracting practices, with one source citing over 15,000 consumer complaints in the state in a four-year period. This investigation comes on top of multiple lawsuits around that state alleging fraud and poor performance, and similarly around the nation. (for more check out Wikipedia)
