Where to begin. Optimere (= NextRequest, ArchiveSocial, Monsido= CivicPlus) There is such a misalignment between reality and expectations at Optimere. It's the kind of sales organization that sets unobtainable sales goals and then says you are the problem. It's a remote company by force not by desire or design. They have very old school ways of doing business and need absolute control over your day to day. In a remote world that looks like constant monitoring. Every email you send, quote you create, every demo etc. They say it's for " training and coaching" but really it's because they have no trust in their employees. They are obsessed with control and scripts because they know best. Forget about honest feedback. If you give it you will be shot down. They aren't interested in your feedback or opinions. If you are remotely talented they will squash your creativity and tell you to work the script. Every ounce of autonomy has been stripped from sales reps. This organization is the very definition of micromanagers. Your manager will probably end up doing your work for you. They continue to churn all their good employees
