In my opinion lower level employees have absolutely terrible working conditions. Completely understaffed and underpaid. Operation Homefront regularly gaslights employees when talks of low pay are mentioned by claiming that they “look at the market”. This is a complete lie as organizations are offering upwards of 10k-15k more a month for the same exact positions. I could not recommend avoiding this organization as an employee enough. You do not matter unless you are part of the senior team/ upper management and you will consistently be told the opposite while simultaneously seeing through action that numbers, donor dollars, and upper management/senior matter more than anything else. It is also extremely hard to seek sustainable employment when the org. does not allow supervisors/directors/coworkers to be a reference, trapping you in a never ending cycle of toxic employment.
