Pros

1. The product market fit of Ontic is spot on. With amazing sales team, a great platform and more than enough money with the recent Series C, this company is set to make it big. It is already a category creator. 2. Being part of a place where you can make an impact, literally saving lives which working with a team who actually care for each other is rare. 3. Leadership is transparent and shares actual information behind the decision making, something not many companies do. 4. Going through a lot of change which comes as a part of scaling up, and hence a great place to learn and grow by actually being a part of it.

Cons

1. Lot of changes also lead to being uncomfortable, and that has lead to many employees not being happy, which is fair but also part of growing up. If you want to be super comfortable and sorted while doing your job then this right now is not the place for you, which could be evident with lots of negative review from people who are feeling the heat due to that. 2. Things have not stabilised to the best when it comes to processes and policies in all the areas of India office and lot of it is wrk in progress. 3. Outgrown its startup phase where velocity is the main goal, so if that is the only thing which drives you, then not the right place

Pros

Ontic has some of the most passionate and talented people I’ve ever worked with. There’s a shared sense of purpose around building something that truly matters - bringing better technology and experiences to an industry that’s long been underserved. The mission and the community we’ve built along the way make it a place you can feel proud to be part of. Ontic isn’t afraid to take big swings, and that ambition has fueled a lot of our growth. Even when we’ve stretched too far, leadership has been willing to redirect resources and adapt, which shows maturity and awareness as we grow.

Cons

As we transition from a scrappy startup to a more structured scale-up, there are growing pains. We sometimes sign up for more than we should, and the pace of change can be intense. The increasing layers of management mean communication and alignment are more critical than ever - sometimes decisions or strategy shifts aren’t communicated as clearly or consistently as they could be. That can make it hard for teams to stay connected to the “why” behind priorities.

Pros

Pay and earning potential is the organization's strongest attribute. The commission structure is transparent, achievable, and provides employees with a clear opportunity to benefit from strong performance.

Cons

Workplace culture is heavily influenced by interpersonal relationships and perceived favoritism. Leadership decisions can appear inconsistent, and employees may not feel comfortable relying on HR to address concerns objectively. The environment can feel exclusionary at times, with social dynamics resembling those of a high school clique rather than a professional workplace.
