Pros

The team that has been formed is a group of talented, intelligent, hard-working, passionate and savvy people; no easy feat. It has been the most pleasant, productive working environment I've ever experienced. Fit was very important to me in selecting the next phase in my career, and Off the Grid has definitely checked that box for me. The benefits provided are in line with comparable companies of this size: medical benefits, etc. There are also some nice office perks and amenities that I found surprising for a food-based company, as most other companies I've visited have not been so employee focused. There is a huge stress on teamwork here, and not only is it stressed, it's practiced everyday. There is cohesion between teams while still allowing people to achieve their goals, big or small. There's is definitely a lot of support. This is also an environment that fosters innovation and thinking outside the box, which has been a really refreshing change. And not only is that type of thinking encouraged, it is supported from inception to activation which makes for a really rewarding working environment.

Cons

The company is growing, and growing really quickly. With that, comes expected growing pains which can have it's challenges. There is also a lot going on at any given time which can push deadlines (or create new ones quickly!) to a semi-uncomfortable place, but we always get the job done!

Pros

Good people to work with in office

Cons

CEO has anger management issues and is a poor communicator. Says one thing one minute, then contradicts himself the next. He also hires based on nepotism, not experience. In the short time I worked there, the entire staff I started with had left by the end of my contract. Also, there is no HR.
