Learning Opportunities: There is a lot to learn due to the company's rapid growth and exposure to new and complex situations. Diversity and Inclusion: There is a preference for hiring people with neuro divergences, which can create a diverse work environment.

Cons

Recognition and Level: Gaining recognition as a senior professional can be challenging, even with extensive experience. Management and Work Environment: Management can be unpredictable, and the absence of an HR department makes it difficult to handle individual differences. Corporate Culture: The strong presence of the corporate culture imposed by the UK headquarters can make working conditions challenging and negatively impact the work environment.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad that you saw opportunities to grow during your time here. As you say, there are individual differences within teams. However, we see this as a strong argument for our manager-led approach, rather than for outsourcing responsibility to a HR department. Managers know their teams far better than a HR department would. This is why we expect managers to make decisions and take responsibility for them, and for the company to give managers all the tools they need to support their team. To make sure that our engineers are getting the recognition they deserve, we've recently rolled out a career development framework. One of the purposes of this is to help ensure that we evaluate our team consistently wherever they are in the world, keeping the bar high so that when you do get promoted it's an important moment and milestone to celebrate. Although we started in the UK and much of our team is based there, we do work hard to build and maintain a unique culture in every office around the world. Pros

Some members of the company are the best people you’ll ever meet.

Cons

Genuinely a complete mess. Incompetent, passive aggressive leadership that repeatedly makes both poor and confusing company decisions. I have some absolutely crazy stories from things I’ve witnessed here. There’s things that are so bizarre and dysfunctional, they belong in an alternate reality.
