Also, I'm delighted you're getting an opportunity to gain more responsibility in your role. This is key to your growth and success and that's why the majority of this extra responsibility goes to our existing team.
At Octopus, everyone is a business owner/shareholder and we try to balance fair pay together with creating great learning and development opportunities. This is all supported by an equity scheme that truly shares the value we create in Octopus. We've already seen the value in that this year.
You should feel really comfortable talking about pay with your manager and if you think your pay isn't fair, absolutely raise it, so we can either help get that sorted or explain the reasons why it is where it is.
