Pros

1. It’s a global company, you can work with people in different time zones and with different cultures 2. Flexible work hours for most departments 3. In-office perks used to be good, free pops, snacks, meals etc 4. Most co-workers are nice and friendly, but you will also find everyone is super busy

Cons

1. A lot of positive reviews are either fake or written by new employees 2. The management team only cares about short-term benefits because of expectations from the owner. 3. Executives don’t have a vision, strategy and roadmap for the company. Whatever they think that can make money, they’ll do it without any cost/benefit analysis, and it has to be delivered ASAP. 4. Executives and senior leadership pushes very hard to get things delivered, they don’t care about employees mental health and physical health. Don’t expect you will get any support, instead they will push you harder and harder. They may pay you 10-20% more, but workload would be 50% more. Many people I know they work at least 10 hours a day. 5. Executives and most senior leadership don’t care about employees career development. They introduced a mentorship program just to keep some employees happy, but in reality they simply don’t care. 6. There is a blame culture here, what’s even worse is, when you get blamed, your leader won’t defend you. 7. Many teams here are structured so badly, and roles are not defined clearly. As a result, many people wear multiple hats and are responsible for stuff that should belong to other people. Like Project managers here are just meeting scheduling assistants. 8. Many people, especially some senior leaders, are tasked with work that they are not good at, which is one of the main reason for #7 9. The executives keep lying to employees and customers saying they care about their customers, but in fact they don’t. In summary, keep looking unless you desperately need a job.

Pros

They are a global presence and one of the most regulated brokers around, one of the financially strongest too. They do have a very generous 25 days of leave and good employee benefits. Plus your colleagues there are really a fun bunch to be around.

Cons

Because of their flat structure, they don't have a proper career path for you to progress on. You just work and have little metrics to gauge whether you deserve a promotion and even then, there are few positions to get promoted to. You get randomly shifted around from your initial duties you signed up for. They have one of the worst spreads around and participate in very dirty tactics to make money from clients. They would prefer to take care of clients rather than employees.
