Pros

Good product and good employees.

Cons

Employer does not give pay raises. 5 year stretches with no pay increases at all. Promises of bonuses and benefits are not realized. Poor vacation and personal time (~10 days) for upper level professions and if you work or travel for the company on weekends, you are not compensated for that time.

Pros

- Great handling of COVID - everyone who can WFH does, excellent on site precautions - Great 401K match - High percent of health coverage covered by company - Career progression clearer than other places I've been - Higher percent of raises than places I've been before - People are willing to help others even cross department

Cons

- Career progression exists but they haven't laid out exactly what training an employee needs to complete to meet each point on the progression list making it take months/years to move up even when someone meets 99% of the criteria for promotion already - PTO is extremely basic - for a company that's moderately progressive on most other benefits its really disappointing that they haven't instituted an unlimited PTO plan - While managers have been put through multiple trainings it doesn't seem to have effected how they speak to and train employees - there's still a lot of unrealistic expectations with little understanding of the differences people's personalities - Pro/Con - They do company parties and events (well planned) but I'm putting it under con because they don't offer options/support of those who don't like or are uncomfortable in large groups and if you choose not to go there's a bit of silent judgment - Although I understand its a business that wants to make money, they put so much emphasis on having perfect customer relations that employees are expected to be superhuman and when they fall short they are judged harshly
