Thanks for taking time to share your experience with NetBrain! Since we've heavily embraced the remote culture it can certainly be hard to continue to live up to that nice office environment, but we have been making a point to try and get employees local to an office for a meal and some collaboration on a monthly basis so that we can continue to have that positive working environment. As for your comment about letting people go, I was actually surprised to see it! Like any other company, we had some unwanted attrition, because people do leave for other jobs in every company and industry, but even in an unstable tech market, we didn't make any layoffs in 2023, or in past years even during the height of the pandemic. Our approach to growth has been gradual throughout, growing from 306 employees to start 2022, to 351 to start 2023. We began 2024 with 386 employees and saw net increases in headcount in almost every department, (We transferred a lot of people out of Advanced Services and into a newly created Customer Journey team, which is the recent for a -14 net change in that department in 2023). We're certainly not perfect, and we do continue to focus on growth. Any feedback from our employees truly helps us on our way. Fortunately, job stability has been something that has been a strength of NetBrain over the years. Thanks again for weighing in! 2024 is going to be an exciting year!

Thanks for reviewing us and providing feedback on your experience over the last 3-4 years here! As a company, we're definitely united in our mission to grow NetBrain and serve our customers in solving problems they struggled to solve previously in their networks. It's a mission that we're passionate about, but we recognize how important time outside of your job is with family, hobbies and other loved one. Work-life balance is extremely important. Yes, many jobs have peaks and valleys and times that get busier than others, but we truly do focus on total wellness, It's great to see that you and others who have reviewed us are able to recognize that. I'd love to offer some insight on your feedback about coding, but I'm sorry to say that I don't have quite enough information to do that. I can tell you that we have a robust Research & Development team that makes up just a shade under 30% of the company and we are always focused on innovating and keeping the product well ahead of any competitors in the market. If you have any more specific feedback, please do share it with leadership. If you feel like your feedback hasn't gotten the attention it needs, reach out to your People Experience Business Partner. The People Experience team is always available to support you and help your messages reach the right channels. Thanks again for the feedback!

Pros

Leadership sets consistently ambitious goals that keep everyone motivated and focused. ;)

Cons

NetBrain talks a big game about innovation and leadership, but my experience was the opposite: bloated management, poor communication, and a culture that felt more focused on appearances than execution. The leadership under the CEO came across as disconnected from employees and customers alike, with constant churn, unrealistic expectations, and little accountability when things went wrong. What’s most disappointing is seeing major firms like Blackstone associated with a company that, from the outside, looks far more polished than it actually operates internally. The product promises efficiency, but the organization itself often felt inefficient, reactive, and overly political. Overall, I would not recommend working with or for this company unless major leadership and cultural changes happen first.
