Smart and kind team members

Instead of resolving the real problems mentioned in the bad reviews, the company is busy making up 5-star reviews to pull up the overall ratings... The leadership may think those reviews are some kind of revenge from the former employees, but why so many bad reviews here? If your employees really feel satisfied to work for you, why bother to take time to write bad reviews?

We always appreciate people taking the time to share their feedback on NetBrain, so thank you for the review. It's worth pointing out that Glassdoor has a very strict policy against the same posters posting more than once in a year. Second posts from the same account in a single year are removed. There are 31 posts of 4 stars or better since the beginning of the year and the vast majority have 5 stars. We certainly recognize that we're not perfect and we have room for improvement, and that's why we value this feedback so much, but I can assure you there's nothing fake about the posts on our page. 31! That would be a heck of a conspiracy! Between our new product release and our efforts to grow revenue, our people have more than enough to do without spending time telling tall tales on our Glassdoor page! I don't know if I'm the most qualified person to get into the psychology of why people would take the time to write a bad post or a good post (though it's an interesting topic for sure), but what you can find on this page is a wide range of viewpoints. There are people who love working here. They believe in the product, they believe in the mission, they enjoy their coworkers and they're excited to be a part of what we're doing. Of course there are people who feel differently. I suppose that's unavoidable at any company. It's impossible to make everybody happy, but what we can do is listen to their specific feedback and do our best to improve for those people while making sure to preserve the things that are best for as many people as possible. If you do have specific areas where you think we can improve, please don't hesitate to share them. If you're not comfortable taking them to your direct manager, your HR business partner is there to support you! We're going to continue to strive towards improvement and growth. We appreciate any and all feedback and I thank you for the review!

Thanks for reviewing us and providing feedback on your experience over the last 3-4 years here! As a company, we're definitely united in our mission to grow NetBrain and serve our customers in solving problems they struggled to solve previously in their networks. It's a mission that we're passionate about, but we recognize how important time outside of your job is with family, hobbies and other loved one. Work-life balance is extremely important. Yes, many jobs have peaks and valleys and times that get busier than others, but we truly do focus on total wellness, It's great to see that you and others who have reviewed us are able to recognize that. I'd love to offer some insight on your feedback about coding, but I'm sorry to say that I don't have quite enough information to do that. I can tell you that we have a robust Research & Development team that makes up just a shade under 30% of the company and we are always focused on innovating and keeping the product well ahead of any competitors in the market. Pros

Leadership sets consistently ambitious goals that keep everyone motivated and focused. ;)

Cons

NetBrain talks a big game about innovation and leadership, but my experience was the opposite: bloated management, poor communication, and a culture that felt more focused on appearances than execution. The leadership under the CEO came across as disconnected from employees and customers alike, with constant churn, unrealistic expectations, and little accountability when things went wrong. What’s most disappointing is seeing major firms like Blackstone associated with a company that, from the outside, looks far more polished than it actually operates internally. The product promises efficiency, but the organization itself often felt inefficient, reactive, and overly political. Overall, I would not recommend working with or for this company unless major leadership and cultural changes happen first.
