Code is mostly is written in an haphazard manner, no standards followed or maintained. As there is a saying, 'One man's hack is other man day job'; most of the code written at netapp is more of a hack and has no neat design. Netapp's core Os is monolithic: that speaks volumes about the code quality. Forceful vacation twice a year.
