Pros

Work life balance if you have a good department/management

Cons

Pay relative to other tech companies is incredibly low, CEO and executive level leaders are incompetent at best and since I started a few years ago I have never seen a company go downhill so fast. All the good people/managers are now long gone. If you do decide to take a job here, be prepared for chaos as there is no direction, no processes and the goal post is constantly changing for every project. Cross functional work is a nightmare because no one knows what their job is or what we are even working on half the time. There are a million products, the user interface sucks for most (we acquired a few that are great but I’m sure they’ll find a way to drive those into the ground too) and the only reason this place is making money is because they lock customers in to multi year contracts and then never deliver on the promise to improve the products, leading to a lot of disgruntled buyers. Good luck with this circus

Pros

I joined this organization through an acquisition and genuinely wasn't certain what the path forward would look like. What followed has exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. I have transitioned across functions, expanded my scope significantly, and grown from individual contributor to leading a team and owning an enterprise technology portfolio. To see this organization continue to grow and scale has been an absolute joy to watch and be a part of. When I first came to Ncontracts I did not understand the value that I brought to the team, or the value of the work I was doing. Over the next few years I understood that I was an asset to the company and that my contributions didn't go unnoticed. I have worn many hats since joining and am humbled that I can continue to grow, take on more responsibility, and be a trusted resource within the organization. I have been promoted, built programs and infrastructure from the ground up, and earned a seat at the table with senior leadership. The company did not hand me those opportunities -- but the culture here made them possible. What excites me most right now is the work we are doing at the intersection of technology, data, and go-to-market strategy. The tools and programs we are building today are genuinely innovative for our space and the impact is measurable and real. That kind of enthusiasm a decade in is not something I take for granted. This is an organization that rewards initiative. If you can identify a gap and present a thoughtful plan to address it, leadership will give you the space to execute. The industry is complex and genuinely interesting, which keeps the work from becoming routine. The people are talented and collaborative, and the cross-functional relationships here are real and productive.

Cons

The pace is fast and the ground shifts often. Priorities evolve, scope expands, and ambiguity is part of the job. If you need structure handed to you, this will be a difficult environment. If you can create your own structure and adapt quickly, you will have every opportunity to succeed here.

Pros

Growth opportunities, great culture, leadership that invests in people, talented co workers, a company that values your work/life/family balance. I’ve been with Ncontracts for four years, and it has been one of the best professional decisions I’ve made. I joined as a Business Development Representative and have since grown into an Account Executive role. Throughout that journey, I’ve been consistently supported by leaders and colleagues who genuinely care about employee development and success. The culture is collaborative, fast-paced, and centered around helping both employees and customers succeed. Leadership is approachable, transparent, and willing to invest in training and career growth. If you’re willing to work hard and take ownership of your career, there are real opportunities to advance. Ncontracts is committed to continuous improvement and listening to employee feedback. Would absolutely recommend Ncontracts to anyone looking for a company where they can grow and make an impact.

Cons

A fast-paced environment isn’t always for everyone; success requires initiative and self-motivation in a remote environment.

Thank you for this, and for four years of hard work and commitment. Reviews like yours mean a great deal because they come from real experience over real time, not just a first impression. Watching someone grow from BDR to Account Executive is exactly what we hope to see when we invest in people, and it sounds like you have taken full ownership of that journey. That combination of personal initiative and genuine support from the people around you is what we work hard to build and protect. Your advice to keep investing in development and maintaining the culture is one we take to heart. It is not something that happens on its own, and reminders like this keep us focused on what matters most. Thank you for recommending us and for being such a meaningful part of what makes Ncontracts a great place to work and grow together.
