Management take a long time to respond. If at all. Very little training and poor training. Lack of responsiveness and support.

Pros

After a year with the company, it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience. The people here genuinely care about their roles, their colleagues, and most importantly, the residents they serve. There’s real passion and purpose in the work we do. The industry in the UK is growing rapidly, which means processes are continually being developed, reviewed, and refined. It creates an environment that’s dynamic and evolving, you have to be adaptable and resilient. This is definitely a work-hard, high-reward culture, and having grit goes a long way. There are excellent recognition schemes in place, and leadership is progressive, learning alongside the organisation as the sector develops. For those who are ambitious, there are real career progression opportunities. Head office is consistently striving to listen, understand, and improve, which makes a noticeable difference. Overall, a challenging but highly rewarding place to build your career.

Cons

You will need passion but also perseverance to work here!

Pros

It's clear very quickly how bad the company is so you can find something else instead

Cons

Everything is bad, but communication is terrible. The worst part is the rude, clicky staff, especially those in "head office" roles. If your face fits and you just do as you are told without asking questions or using any brain cells you'll be rewarded. Question anything or refuse to blindly follow requests and you will be ignored, patronised, criticised or told you aren't a team player. Operations are awful, anything goes wrong and you will be blamed and ignored until she decides to turn up and tell everyone how invaluable she is and how well she fixed the issue. Dangerously delusional.
