Pros

Salaries are better than elsewhere as otherwise no one would work there for long

Cons

Your entire prospects are based on who within the senior team likes you or doesn't. Pretend to want feedback on experiences that they do nothing with other than make excuses for issues that never change and you are viewed as negative unless telling them how wonderful everything is. Arrogant culture throughout the business, senior team believe they are always right above all else and disregard anything that indicates otherwise. Complete lack of processes and no consistency throughout the business. Head office employees within the same department give responses which contradict each other constantly. Systems do not work and are long winded. Cheap option is always chosen rather than the right option. (Even phones and laptops are second hand) Biggest issue is secrecy - nothing is communicated and no one ever knows what is happening. Anything said in confidence is never kept confidential. Staff are leaving constantly as the culture is so bad, yet this is always blamed on the people leaving not the people leading the business creating the poor environment. Very underhanded with promotions and progression opportunities. Roles not advertised and just given to favoured people or advertised when it is clear who will get the job before it's even advertised.

Pros

Immediate colleagues are friendly and supportive

Cons

- Clearly understaffed and overwhelmed with workload and little to no support from upper management? Upper Management: No worries have pizza on us for lunch! - Mental health declining, no pay review, go above and beyond constantly? Upper Management: Instead of discussing potential promotion or progression route let's put staff on performance reviews and have HR talk down at you! - Budget getting smaller and smaller to the point where maintenance can't carry out their Jobs because of lack of tools? Upper Management: No problem, here's my almost maxed out credit card, go buy some tools off amazon! - Got any concerns, mental health still declining, complaints? Upper Management: No worries just send me an email! ( so that I can ignore you and never address your concerns) - Upper Management: "We always hire from within if we can!" (Rarely hires from within and instead hires their friends in higher positions than you) Honestly one of the worst companies to work for if you value your time, sanity, and want to progress in your career. Stay far far away.

Pros

There is not a single pro for working for these people.

Cons

The staff turnover at Native is unbelievably high, and after working under them for 6 months, I now know why. The management team was a crumbling mess with no direction or leadership at all. The culture was toxic beyond belief, dominated by snide remarks and an extreme level of micromanagement. A vast majority of work was forced onto lower employees with no regard for how we would complete it. I reached out to HR who gave no response at all, and offered no help other than “we will look into that”. I truly don’t know what the point in Natives HR team is if they have many members of staff deeply unhappy about their jobs and do nothing about it. In my time there my direct manager was fired and the company made no effort to find a replacement and instead insisted that all her work would be completed by us, with no support. Despite training 3 new employees within my first 3 months, working with my colleagues in the best way possible and working late and through lunches to help the team. I was often called out for being unhelpful, sarcastic and not looking happy enough. I can not recommend avoiding this company enough.
