Pros

Commercialise advanced technologies for instrumentation. You learn a lot if you like to learn by yourself. No other pros besides this.

Cons

Bad management/despotic attitude from Managing Director. Racist distribution of work, most technical and sales roles to Indians and Middle Easters, easy roles to anyone else. Most technical people get trapped since they come from overseas on temporal working visas, so they can not apply for other jobs. You are more likely to get hirer there if you have a temporary work visa. Very valuable people have resigned year after year even some managers; submissive not-bright staff remains. Arrogant attitude of managers, towards supporting sales and technical staff. No one should question them is what they think. Do not follow proper procedures defined at NI Corp. in USA. Such as not verifying customers’ accounts to provide them support. Practice to do favours to potential customers to get them buying NI products, very inefficient process, very few people buy. Incompetent marketing team members. Very inefficient for prioritising work, main management proposes non-sense projects without doing proper market research. Quite behind reaching sales targets compared to rest of NI offices around the world. Working hours 8:20 am to 6:30 pm (usually).

Pros

The people and the culture! Mostly very helpful, smart, fun loving group of employees. NI hired a lot for culture fit and that made the day to day a lot of fun.

Cons

Company vision from the higher ups suffered greatly after the pandemic.
