*top-heavy org structure -- there are/were far too many bosses and not nearly enough individual contributors to actually do the work. *pre-meetings for meetings about meetings. *terrible work/life balance -- 10+ hour days 5 days a week in a salaried position with no comp. time, constant emails outside of work hours and on weekends (from people in same time zone). *zero transparency -- leaders didn't listen to employees, they only wanted to hear "yes" and completely ignored a lot of great new ideas while saying they were excited about change but always maintaining the status quo
