Pros
Flexible schedule (most people arrive to work early 7am or so and then leave early by 4pm or so). Many people work from home one day each week. Employees are nice and down-to-earth.
Cons
Extremely difficult to get promoted or advance your career. Employees aren't valued. Revolving door of upper management & big severance packages these folks. Constantly throwing away lots of money (to expensive consultants) to fix simple issues that could be handled (successfully) by employees; the fixes are never implemented well and lead to more issues. Always cutting costs. Have had a 0% raise twice in the last eight years. Bonus structure continues to change resulting in smaller checks each year. The Finance Organization just did a mass demotion (employees who were Directors are now Managers, Managers are now Lead Analysts, and Lead Analysts are now Senior Analysts). Unclear why people were demoted.
