The work enviroment can vary - Kitchen Crew Nando's Employee Review

Part time workers are expected to worked as same as fulltime schedule and must come to work even though part time have the right to not come to work incase or emergency or sick. This cause, other workers to be angry if you do not come just because you are sick, even though you are a part time worker. Some part time worker are not promoted to full time due to favouritism. Basicly the workers and the managers, yes the MANAGERS blame the part time workers if they can't come to work because of emergency or sick reasons, you are EXPECTED to come to work so that your colleagues don't have to cover your shift. Else they blame you for lazy coming to work. This experience are based on what i have seen happen to one of my colleagues and he decide to change jobs later on. I decide to quit after seeing how they treat him like that even though he has work as a part time for 5 months because i could be the next victim.
