Pros

Fast paced and stimulating. It's good if you enjoy a challenge and are willing to learn. There are a lot of interesting problems to work on. There's a strong culture. There is relatively little management and everyone is well versed in technology. The company isn't driven by sales and marketing.

Cons

The company doesn't stop. Expect to move from one hot issue to the next without a rest. Expect long hours and large amounts of work. Be prepared to have the company's bottom line pushed at you. You should also expect to be blamed for issues that arise, either from other teams or customers. Talent is recognized, but slow to be compensated.

Pros

Fantastic work culture, great work life balance. People are genuinely excited about what they are working on and the projects are cutting edge. Unlimited tokens (for now at least). Flexible hybrid policy, and easy to take PTO. Leadership is very forward thinking, for a large company there's a lot of sense that employees matter. No layoffs in almost 20 years. Food is pretty good and subsidized. Great benefits, and competitive compensation especially for hardware roles.

Cons

Only minor gripes - currently no gym, and the parking is very limited at HQ. This is being addressed, but won't be completed until 2028. Company has been growing faster than the offices, so there aren't enough desks for everyone. Slightly inconvenient when you can't get a temp desk where you need, but most of the time it's no problem.
