Pros

Offered services / products are very good and used internally The french offices (headquarters) are the best to work compared to Schaumburg World wide opportunities Creativity encourage Thursday afterwork Flexibility on hours / work from home depending on the department

Cons

Culture in Schaumburg, IL doesn't reflect the start-up environment that you can feel in Paris. Other colleagues are very judgmental, no "friendly" environment. No casual clothes (No jean or sneakers except on friday for example). If you live in Chicago, forget it, too far away even with a car (awful traffic). No budget for old projects even if they are used by the majority of the clients, too much into the future project sometimes. Found them very picky about expenses out of work (no cars of hotels for more than a week if you're hired from the french office to the US for example).

Thank you for your feedback. We strive to make Arkadin an employer of choice and show our employees that they are valued. While each country has a different culture, we celebrate that with our core values. In the USA we strive to show our employees that they are appreciated by organizing many appreciation events. While we began as a small start-up, we have grown globally to now be in 33 countries speaking 19 languages. We hope you continue with Arkadin and reach out to your manager or human resources if you feel we could be doing a better job in your area. Thank you for your constructive feedback.

Pros

The company is rising the ranks as they are combining all of their internal business teams and processes as well as they are capable of.

Cons

You are a number. The family dedication of 'doing whatever it takes to get the job done' is gone, as new management has come in and made everything a calculation. They have slashed every US job they can, and if you're in the EU and your role can be sent to India, you are next. If your individual math doesn't add up for longer than 2 weeks, you'll be on your way out. If you are on vacation, you are also questioned about that math not adding up. Just added a bench process to get everyone infighting for roles they aren't appropriate for and dragging out their personal needs. A select few are exempt, even though the bench process isn't fully working or completely understood. Reporting structures are all in flux and everyone is 3 months into the year without identified goals or team reporting set for the year.
