Pros

Easy job. Money was ok. Used to be a good place to work....used to be

Cons

In the BU I was in there was no growth. They promote incompetent, inexperienced people. Promise promotions but never follow through for competent people. Management refuses to expand the network footprint or add products limiting the addressable market. They're dropping in the market compared to competitors. It's sad. NTT used to be a top dog and now they're an also ran. For Ltd., there's no integration. It's still a morass of silos. No plan. Frequent CEO changes. Creating Ltd was a waste of time and money. Benefits are relatively expensive with high deductibles, especially for such a large corporation. Benefits at my new job are <50% of NTT and the coverage is better with a small deductible. When I resigned, not one person in management asked why after 7 years. That tells you all you need to know. You're a cog in the wheel.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
