Pros
This is a company with countless examples of very high performing employees that are carrying this company on their backs, typically without any support from their hard line management or executive support in North America. The IT capabilities of the approximately 6,000 North American workforce are enormous and a foundation upon which future successes could be built.
Cons
There are no redeeming qualities for this under performing company. Executive management lacks vision and skills to manage a consulting business. Claims of "Top 10 Global IT Services company" is to be kind ambitious with comparisons to Accenture, IBM GS, HP-EDS & CSC without merit. Company culture is continuation of Carritor with many managers remaining and unable to transition to a true global company. Policies, strategies and approach to marketplace out of touch with clients, employees and prospects. Executive management is ineffective in instituting an atmosphere to drive future successes. Solution areas are shell organizations with slide decks and few market offerings. Field teams are largely unsupported by the larger enterprise and often saddled with the most inappropriate management teams imaginable. The strength of the organization is within the experienced employees that provide the client solution support that allows the company to keep the lights on. Without solutions or products, this company relies exclusively on the talents and capabilities of the workforce to satisfy client needs but these folks toil without any hope of pay increases or promotional opportunities. Company takes a just-in-time approach to all aspects of the business. Investments in people and R&D is laughable.
