They offer very expensive health coverage. I never used it though. Good workmans comp.
Cons
Low pay. Horrible hours. Can't get vacation time off. Toxic work environment. Continuously made promises and never kept them. Always wanted me to do extra things that I did not get paid for. Base pay for techs is $11.02 an hour. No time and a half ever. Can't provide enough work to keep techs busy. Would not fix broken shop equipment. They sold unnecessary work all the time. They lie to customers so customers would come in the back and talk to employees and if you didn't lie too it would put you in a bad spot. They allowed non certified techs do alignments and AC work. They don't want you to use the torch to free stuck parts, you get yelled at for that. They want you to sell new parts instead. I worked at three different stores and had more then a dozen different managers. They would transfer you to other stores without asking. In fact if you didn't agree they would fire you. My co worker was a devout Jew and the manager made him work every Saturday even though it was against his religion. None of my Co workers had their own tools. The shop never had tools either. When covid hit they lowered everyone's pay. bTook away bonuses. And asked us all to do more. I think I made my point. No need to continue.
