Pros
Paid more than unemployment. Fairly close to home. They go out of their way to tell you about the free soup and that shows they care.
Cons
I worked at NJM during the "buzzer beater" days . That was a time when the buzzer sounded and you needed to be at your desk for your supervisors daily prisoner check. You needn't be doing anything. Just be at your desk looking lowly and pathetic and that would get you by. Today the buzzer is gone but the cell checks still go on. Be late by 5 or 10 and you need to take 15 minutes vacation time for your offense. That's If your super lets you. Often they prefer to mark you late and reflect your lates in your annual review. But that depends on who you were. A good boot lick was often cut a break or two or 53.
