Pros
Great, knowledgeable, helpful, and extraordinary group of colleagues at NJM. In the claims department, “teamwork makes the dream work” stands true. Your team and supervisors are more than ready to help with anything you need. The department leadership are supportive, present, and understand your role. You are encouraged to continue training for upward mobility—I see a lot of people moving into higher positions like clock work. NJM is expanding and will need more quality employees to help continue building their brand—so I’d say that’s a plus too!
Cons
Classes are offered far and few between—to take all of them could take years at this rate... If you value staying away from the office because of a little snow—forget about it; essential employee means no snow days for you! (Only a con if you care about that) It takes some time to get into a groove/style of work—about a year to feel like you’re in control of your workload.
