      Pros

      Competitive salary, supportive coworkers, efficient engineering team. HR often holds fun events in the Applied Tech office. Schedule is also very flexible, and tons of paid time off is provided to AT employees.

      Cons

      Working at Applied Tech requires you to be in the office every day, which some may not prefer. You also need to fill out government time reports that log your time spent on all work.

      Amazing internship culture! Everyone is super supportive and nice. The internship program is also very well-organized. Great WLB as well.

      Pros

      I highly value the autonomy I am given to manage my own workload, and I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with several of my talented colleagues.

      Cons

      That independence comes at a cost. The company is incredibly disorganized and siloed. Management will force lateral moves on you without asking; I've ended up balancing four different roles with absolutely no pay increase. Requests for fair compensation compared to the peers I trained were completely ignored. Territories change constantly, but zero training is provided. You are essentially left entirely on your own to figure it out.

Additionally, all Motorola Solutions employees participate in an annual incentive plan or a sales incentive plan. That said, we appreciate your feedback and have made a note of it.
