Pros

It’s a fun industry to be in—I loved having conversations about how to love people better at work. It’s easy to get re-invigorated at a show, presentation, or on a sales call with someone that recognizes the potential impact of helping their team feel seen/heard/appreciated. A great mission and a good product. There are some lovely people there.

Cons

Lip Service is more of a company currency here than “Motivosity Bucks”. There’s a my-way-or-the-highway policy that cascades from the tippy top, and an absolute abandonment of data-driven decision making, at least where sales is concerned. Over a third of the entire US team that was there when I started is now gone—I’m being conservative. That’s not people skipping out on a whim, that’s their passion and commitment to building something worthwhile (for less money, mind you) being crushed slowly out of their hearts. The expectations, goals, and bars for sales were set so far from the current reality that it stirred up anxiety, panic attacks, and mental health episodes for more than one colleague (and myself).

Pros

Motivosity has a fantastic company mission. It's super easy to care about what we're building. The people are some of the best I've ever worked with.

Cons

The team is small (but talented). Just means that everyone's plates are pretty full.

Pros

Motivosity is one of the rare companies that genuinely cares about you as a person both professionally and personally. I have a great relationship with my manager, and I’m trusted with real autonomy to own my role and succeed. The hybrid schedule is a dream: meaningful in-person collaboration, focused heads-down work time at home. Expectations are high, but so is trust... employees are treated like adults! As a working mom, that flexibility and support is huge. Motivosity truly practices what it preaches, and the platform itself makes me feel seen, appreciated, motivated, and connected to my coworkers. And it’s not just all work, there are fun events and activities like movie nights, cornhole tournaments, swimming parties, dinners, shopping days, and holiday parties (I’ve heard the events person is pretty great 😉). If the company hits annual goals, there’s also a yearly MVers Club trip and it’s for EVERYONE, not just sales! I’ll admit I was skeptical of all the glowing Glassdoor reviews… but within my first few weeks, it was obvious they’re real. Motivosity is special, and a big part of that comes from strong leadership, especially our incredible CEO.

Cons

No 401K match but all the other benefits are great!
