      Pros

      lovely coworkers, lots of great benefits for childcare, certification assistance, and even just daily promo deal

      Cons

      HR is fairly stand-offish. When I filed a complaint against a negligent coworker, I was told to just talk to my supervisor even though I had done so repeatedly at that point. The wages are pretty awful compared to the large workload, the ED staff are overworked, and there doesn't appear to be much room for growth.

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Short staffed, Not as consistent with some of the processes but they are working on it

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Cons

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
