      Pros

      Team members tend to be very helpful. The cafeteria was recently upgraded with better food options. Depending where you work, the newer wings are more comfortable and convenient to work in.

      Cons

      Very poor staffing ratios. Unsafe working conditions. Benefits, resources, and other perks are stripped away every month in order to drive profits up. Most staff members are exhausted and burnt out.

      Pros

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Short staffed, Not as consistent with some of the processes but they are working on it

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Cons

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
