      This organization truly cares about the WNC community and delivering quality care with exceptional outcomes. A Great Place to Work & Practice with teamwork, leadership and peer support, true purpose & pride. Very innovative with a focus on quality and process improvement. Best compensation in the area with generous benefits. Education assistance for growth and development. Mission has given me many opportunities that I am very thankful for!!

      Pros

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Short staffed, Not as consistent with some of the processes but they are working on it

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Cons

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
