Pros
It was my very first job, they hired me young and trusted me. Spent 3 years as part-time clerk, then was promoted to assistant manager for a year. The salary wasn’t too bad. Generally fun work environment and nice coworkers.
Cons
The manager and director put a lot of pressure and insisted on the smallest things. There is a lot of work and it gets hard physically to lift heavy boxes all day long. They offer little training. Since it was unionized, you could barely negotiate your salary, even after a promotion.
